About the Venue- Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science, Kolkata

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science, Kolkata, India was started in the year 2000 under the aegis of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan as a promising B-School under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). Here, MBA program is affiliated to the MAKAUT and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and BBA program is affiliated to the MAKAUT, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. Of India and Department of Higher education (Technical Education), Govt. Of West Bengal. The Institute conducts a 2-year MBA program and 3-year BBA program on a regular basis.

At present, we offer a specialization in four areas, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance. To make the students better equipped to handle the ever-changing business scenario, dual specialization is now offered. Students are required to select 3 courses from one area (Major Specialization) and one course from a different area (Minor Specialization).

Operational Research Society of India (ORSI)

The Society is devoted to promotion and propagation of knowledge in Operational Research. ORSI publishes a quarterly journal OPSEARCH, which brings out high quality and state of the art papers in Operational Research. Since 1973, it also conducts an examination on Graduate Diploma in Operational Research to provide opportunities to professionals and students to equip themselves with knowledge of Operational Research. Operational Research Society of India is a non-profit making educational Society.

The abstracts (maximum 200 words) / full versions (max word limit 2000) of all presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceeding with ISBN. After the conference, based on the decision of the review committee, the authors of selected papers will be intimated to submit the extended version of their papers to the special/regular issues of the following journals and/or edited books published by reputed publishers for consideration for possible publication subject to the decision made by the journal through the review process.
